| | | Moody Gardens® has opened Bones: An Exhibit Inside You! Guests will learn about health issues, including keeping bones strong by eating a diet rich in calcium and getting plenty of exercise –an important message in response to the declining level of athleticism among children and an increase in preventable condition, osteoporosis. The exhibit can even help children learn science, namely biology and the anatomy of the human body.

    | After hundreds of millions of years of existence, almost half of the world's species of amphibians are threatened with extinction. Loss of habitat, change in climate, pollution and pesticides, and collection for food and pets are all contributing to the crisis. During 2008, the conservation group Amphibian Ark will lead zoos and aquariums in the "Year of the Frog" campaign to raise awareness about amphibian extinction.
