Island fun awaits in the Moody Gardens® attractions!

Aquarium Pyramid® – The Caribbean emerges as the largest and most remarkable exhibit in the Aquarium Pyramid®. Sharks, sea turtles, eels and thousands of beautiful tropical fish swim overhead as you navigate through an underwater tunnel completely surrounded by the exhibit's one-million gallons of water.

Rainforest Pyramid® – The 10-story glass pyramid is currently closed for a major enhancement project to be completed in May 2011. The enhancement will enable you to see the Rainforest Pyramid in a whole new way. In addition to a new entry, a walkway will lead you through the canopy level. Exploring the exhibit from a new vantage point, you will see new plants, birds, animals, fish and butterflies. You will also have access to the lower levels of the exhibit as in the past.

IMAX® 3D Theater – Enjoy larger-than-life films that fill your peripheral vision combined with superb sound to provide you with the best seat in the house. Slip on your 3D glasses to see incredible realistic three-dimensional images as they are projected onto a giant six-story screen with such realism that you’ll want reach out to grab them.

Ridefilm – Strap on your seatbelt and hold on for an incredible experience! Ridefilm technology offers the ultimate in high-impact, immersive simulation. Each 18-passenger ride is surrounded by a seamless 180° wraparound screen that fully encompasses each viewer's peripheral vision. High quality images and awesome sound combine to make you a part of the action.

4D Special FX Theater – See, hear, feel and smell the action! Hi-def digital 3D projection, audio and show control systems combined with special effects, such as wind, smoke, mist, leg ticklers, seat buzzers and SFX lighting and DTS surround sound system immerse you in a unique short-film theater experience that is a thrill for all ages.

Colonel Paddlewheel Boat  – Enjoy gulf breezes on a 45-minute cruise around Offats Bayou. Weather permitting, the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat sails from the Moody Gardens® dock.

Discovery Museum® – Come and explore the extraordinary world of science at the Discovery Pyramid. Spectacular traveling exhibits from around the country provide interactive demonstrations showcasing the world of science that surrounds you.

Palm Beach - Enjoy soft white sand beaches with blue freshwater lagoons and waterfalls surrounded by lush, exotic landscaping. Relax in Texas-sized spas or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on our regulation courts. The Splashpad automated aquatic water feature offers interactive dump buckets, spray arches and fountains for a day of fun at the beach.

Festival of Lights - Starting Nov. 13, holiday fun kicks off the ninth annual Moody Gardens® Festival of Lights. Once again, Santa will parachute into Moody Gardens and flip a switch to set off a mile-long trail of more than a million lights, an outdoor ice rink and live entertainment. After the grand opening, Festival of Lights will remain open on select nights from mid November to early December before reaching a regular 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily schedule from Dec. 16 to Jan. 1.
